Guillaume & Jean Pelletier

From Bresolette, in Perche, Guillaume came to New France with his son, Jean.  Their descendants constitute the largest progeny of Pelletiers in North America.

Pierre Pelletier

Born in 1634 in the commune of Saint- Martin-de-Fraigneau in Vendée, he is responsible for the second largest progeny of Pelletiers in North America. (NEW TEXT AND PICTURES)

Nicolas Peltier

From the city of Gallardon, in Beauce, he is the first Pelletier to set foot in New France. His progeny is better known by the byname adopted by his son, François: Antaya or Pelletier-Antaya.

Louis Pelletier

From Poitiers, in Vendée, he was a soldier in the Company of Saint-Ours. His progeny is few, and found chiefly in the area of Montreal.

François Pelletier

Born in Aunis, France, he leaves a very small lineage where only one family still lives today in the United States of America.
